That wouldnt make any sense. Battle Royal is a 4 way battle. Characters really dont matter in this hence why no one familiar is there in SM (except for the first tutorial battle)

What I liked most about PWT is I could even get to and win champion tournament with an ingame team because the enemies didn't have perfec IVs and hax strategies,, like in Battle Tree even your perfect IV and Ev trained mons with high BST with perfect coverage and optimal typing can be fucked over by Fissure magically hitting 3 times in a row or bright powder making a Pokémon untouchable
