Some years ago a friend from school ended up in hospital. After some time there we were playing Pokemon and he was boasting about his new shiny Lucario. When asked about it, he told me that he met a girl in the hospital and they were playing Pokemon together. They became close friends and when he was about to be released, she told him that they will probably never see each other and she traded him her shiny Lucario as a token of their friendship. Basically, your average teen drama movie. It seemed suspicious but I ignored it.
A day or so later I was doing something on his PC and there they were in one of the folder, the files for injecting rare Pokemon.
Obviously, that particular Lucario was one of the last he injected into his game. When he saw that I was looking through the files he quickly closed it thinking I wouldn't notice.

Same here lads, after a couple years mulling it over I've come to the conclusion that these kinds of people hate themselves and rely on their partner for any scraps of joy that can be leeched from them.
