It can work. Tangrowth and Ferrothorn seem like a good place to start (though I'm not very knowledgeable about monotype teams.)

You have a lot more utility in Grass than most realize. Just experiment and be willing to try UU or even RU mons as well, like Virizion, Chesnaught or Decidueye.

Tapu Bulu's Grassy Terrain makes it a pretty decent type spam team. Not as good as Fire and Water with their weathers (not resisted by half of the typechart), but decent nonetheless. Read Smogon's monotype board on their forums for more.
Actually you should specify what you want to play first and foremost. Ingame, casual matches vs friends, Battlespot or what? And which generation?

Battlespot is also fine since I enjoy raising Pokemon.
