What's the appeal of the ultra beasts?
>>33449340
I like how bizarre they feel.
Pheromosa is probably the least odd of them though, and I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a regular gen VII mon, especially with how many other waifumons Alola had.
>>33449340
Their Pokémon.
>>33450269
What pokemon do they have?
>>33450304
Lol! No, I meant.
They are Pokèmon.
>>33450334
well pick the right there, retard
>>33449340
The aesthetics.
They're fuckable without the worry about bestiality since they're from another dimension
>>33449375
Even Pheromosa is really humanoid and weird looking compared to the other waifumons. Tsareena is kinda blobby and stubby with its design, and Salazzle and Primarina are still primarily animalistic, namely in their stance (Salazzle tripods, for instance). Even Incineroar has cartoony proportions.
Pheromosa is this strange, oddly articulated sticklike thing. And its pale body, gold accessories, and transparent wings make it look like some otherworldly angelic thing. It's still got that weird alien appeal, compared to the other more cartoony humanoid/waifumons this gen.
>>33449340
They're strange, otherworldly, and threatening (some).
>>33450576
It still counts, you degenerate.
>>33450670
muh dick
I want to break through the hard exterior of this cold beauty.
>>33450670
It's also got the weirdest cry of the UBs. All the others, except maybe Nihilego, have cries that you would probably expect them to have just by looking at them. Pheromosa makes this unnerving, super cool sound that doesn't even fit its appearance. Which is my favorite part.
>>33449340
Evangelion and jojo references
>>33449340
The fact that they are wacky, out of this world designs that wouldn't be accepted as regular pokemon. It always seemed that Gamefreak were itching to experiment with that aesthetic when they stopped using mostly Kaijus as references.
>>33450670
It can be creepy if drawn to be.
They're basically digimon.
>>33449340
I feel the appeal is that they are familiar to us, from a real-world perspective, yet are made alien enough to feel out of place. A jellyfish made out of liquid glass, a mosquito with the physique of a bodybuilder, or a humanoid cockroach/stick bug, living electric cables which are man-made objects, etc. The only real exception, at least in my mind, is Guzzlord, as I don't really see a readily familiar shape to it.
>>33451289
I like Celesteela's cry. It's a giant rocket ship princess, but its cry is just so unambiguously human. Like a happy sigh or small laugh.
Kind of the Pokemon equivalent of Lovecraftian mythos for me. I really like how absolutely out there the idea of extra-dimensional supermons is. Plus I think all their designs are pretty rad.
>>33450406
Someone's a hypocrite
>>33451611
It can be thicc too.
>>33453570
Thats probably the only Thicmosa done right. Others over exaggerate the figure too far.
>>33451439
are they fusing?
>>33453570
you can even draw melons on them
>>33454667
That's what some people call it.
>>33453570
>Throwing around "thicc" meme
If that's thick to you, you are weak.
