China may or may not happen at another time...
Consider The Following...
- inb4 "Muh Patterns" each generation has more or less Pokémon than the previous generation, G2 had less than G1, G3 had more than G2, G4 had less than G3, G5 had more than G4, G6 had less than G5, G7 had more than G6 so Generation 8 will have less than 81 new Pokémon, and for a region as big and varied as China (Like BW it has a desert and the arctic) it is unlikely there would be less than 81 new Pokémon in a China region so that will be later
- Not a good point but Arcanines Dex entry mentions China
- We still haven't seen a "Moondial" and Spain would be perfect because Spain is known for its night life
- Oricorio forms and Tapus represent different regions and Spain is represented
- Spain is known for Flamenco Music which originated in Spain... What is Flamenco Music known for? Guitars!!! What is Ryuki? He is a "Star" that uses a Guitar, has the same colors as the Spain flag, and is a Dragon type trainer and there is Dragon on the flag
- The Egyptian Mongoose can be found in Spain and according to legends and drawings, a lot of them are represented as bipedal like Gumshoos

Gen 7 only didn't have many new pokemon because its a vacation arc. Gen 8 will probably have more than 100 so they can reach 1000 fir gen 9,the 25th anniversary.
