I did it in Platinum. I lost track at about 50 chansey encounters, but I ended up getting one.

Keep it up, OP. It also has taken me forever to find a Chansey with a Lucky Egg. It's how I found my first Shiny, though.

Do you happen to have a Pokemon with Thief, or are you catching the Chanseys?
