Same here. I knew about Armaldo's eyes from the beginning, but even after playing Gen 6 I still see fake eyes and buckteeth on Cradily.

I thought Torkoal's shell was it's head, and that it's neck and head were an arm, holding the smoke somehow.

I honestly couldn't tell what the fuck this thing was supposed to be. It's easy to make out if you know what Gardevoir is supposed to look like, but you can't even tell which way it's facing just from the sprite. I figured it had an orb head with a single eye and its body was a sheet-like thing. Whenever I ran into it in battle, I always thought "oh, it's this thing again". It was my least favorite gen 3 Pokemon for years.
