Completely skipped the tutorial because I am far too intelligent to be talked down to like a child. But now I have no idea what it is. Is it a good way to get new Pokemon? Because apparently you can get random ones there? Is this an efficient way to complete the Pokedex? Or should I go fuck myself, guys?

PokePelago is mostly good for farming items, EVs, and friendship while you aren't playing, good to leave overnight and such
You CAN get random Pokemon but as far as I've seen it isn't efficient at all

Use it to get beans, farm berries, the mines to get evo stones/rare items (bottle caps), level EVs (1 session = 4 ev), and raise friendship (unless they stay in hotsprings too long)
Leveling up via the training island takes forever; 63 sessions maxes a stat.
Wild mon on bean island is entirely RNG and may not stay anyways so it's a bad way to get mons.

>EVs
What is this

Hidden values that determine what stats your Pokemon are best at; the same values that get raised by Protein, Calcium, etc.

I was trying to read about them but I don't get it. If your HP is a certain number, does that mean that number is lying to me? And the EVs would make it higher?
