I like to surprise things like Gliscor with it. It reliably takes it out at full health most of the time, something which return can't accomplish. I've experimented with various moves in that slot, which I don't use too much anyway, and Ice Punch was the most satisfying one.

It's a silly, untranslatable pun. In Japan, there's a myth about rabbits on the moon making mochi (a Japanese rice candy). The Japanese name of the ability is wordplay that can mean either "huge power" or "mochi power". Hence why it goes to the rabbits.

Also, the demon that Mawile is very commonly depicted eating mochi in old Japanese paintings for some reason, so they figured that was enough justification for Mega Mawile to get it, too.
