Can't put my finger on it, but something about the old attack animations carried more weight and impact than the 3D animations, oddly. And the sound effects were really cool too.

Hearing the announcer lose his mind over moves in PBR was the best. I really wish a new game like Stadium/PBR would come out so I can see my Pokemon wreck shit once more on the big screen.
