Funny enough I have some tabs open right now dedicated to learning more abut bats. Specifically how they hang upside down and what secondary characteristics that implies.
They have mechanisms in their legs that clamp their feet shut, and as for bloodfllow they have little valves throughout their veins that keep blood from flowing backwards, and are also lightweight enough that their own blood isn't as heavy to them. Square cube law, yo!

Anyway Noivern is just the best. I love the logic that, "Well a wyvern is just a dragon without forearms, so it ends up basically looking like a giant bat,"and that's why it evolves from a bat.

It is a very cool pokémon and is somewhat underappreciated for how cool it actually is.

best looking dragon type imo. Awesome design, awesome colour pallette. Looks cool, cute and intimidating all in one. Shame about its stat being a little lacklustre but its great special attacker none the less and Noibat is a cutie.

In some ways I almost hold out hope for an evo as something about Noivern's design feels slightly mid-stage to me. Anyhow I love best bat-dragon :3
