We can all agree on this, right?
Pokemon SCP when
No, we can't
>>33420479
4 and 5 should go together

Okay.
>>33420479
No.
Generation is just an easier way to classify the games because using numbered installments would be confusing with all the versions and having them numbered makes it hard for new audiences to pick up because they might feel like they're missing out.
Red/Blue is Pokemon 1, Diamond/Pearl is Pokemon 4, etc.,
>>33420479
>implying the scp foundation didn't get better over time
>>33421214
Fuck off Richard
>>33421214
I agree, but somehow even our current system confuses people. Like with people asking if HGSS is gen four, etc...
>>33420479
They have a series IV of SCPs?
I'm really out of touch.
>>33423350
They had it since march
>>33420479
no
for starters pokemon has had a far more consistent quality than SCP
>>33420479
No.
>>33421235
The peak was series 2.
Last time I checked the site has been forgetting its horror roots in favor of surrealism, though that was about a year or so ago I think. Also, thinly veiled political shit and radicals worming their way into prominent or staff positions.
When there was an attempt to censor SCP-231 due to the rape implications I knew the site was going downhill for real.
>>33425822
Wait really? They tried to censor 231?
>>33420479
they all suck so yes
>>33420479
The fuck is the SCP Foundation?
>>33427675
a bunch of morons collect dangerous horrors that shouldnt be in our universe, such as communist spiders
>>33427675
its a website for a bunch of user-created fanfictions for spooky ghosts and objects in research paper format, which are called scps
>>33425822
The peak was series 3 for exactly the reasons you stated. Good surrealism>>>>>good horror
Also, series 1 has a lot of very basic entries and quickly abandoned horror as well
>>33425822
Lmao the theme of the series 4 contest was LITERALLY horror. Also 231 wasn't censored, they just removed the part about the D classes being sex offenders to make it more ambiguous as to what the procedure is.
>>33420481
>2017
>they STILL haven nerfed 682
>>33430042
Are the [ACCESS DENIED] entries deleted?
>>33430077
No they're just not written yet.
>>33420479
I used to like SCP, but lately they try too hard to create a coherent "universe" with all those objects, try to link them together. They also invented some super-villain organizations to oppose SCP because apparently it wasn't thrilling enough just to fight monsters and paranormal creatures. The project now feel less like a "horror" and more like a "superhero movie".
What The hell is SCP?
>>33430141
There are several opposing organizations though, unless there is a new one I havent seen. Havent been there since before they started series 4
Plus I thought they encourage things not matching up lore wise since it isnt supposed to be a consistent universe.
