Yes. 500,actually 493, is a good ending number of mons. Even as good as B2W2 are, I have trouble completing the national dex while I don't have that problem with Gen 4. The meta was at its best. The Physical/Special split was the last great game mechanic tweak. Lastly, HGSS was the ultimate love letter from GF to the fans and the near perfect adaptation of the most ambitious Pokemon games.

I completed it legitimately only with Black and White 2 without issues. I mean there's the events but they still were on in Gen 4. Gen 5 only adds 156 new mons, it doesn't any complication and B2W2 had a big dex. I can't really even begin to see how this is supposed to be an issue.
