It's worse than X/Y. There's a sidequest like the Looker Quest with Emma, but the story of it is worse and it's just a boring fetch quest that seems like it should have an impact on the world but doesn't.

The Battle Tree is the same as the Battle Maison but it's harder. There are no cool features like Lumiose's style system to do, and there are no medals to collect in the global link.
