Trash. Emboar sucks to begin with but you've made it worse.

You can keep some red in there, pal. Venusaur (teal, brown, green, pink, yellow), Charizard (orange, green, tan, red, yellow), Machamp (blue gray, tan, yellow, brown, red)...all have multiple colors. The limited colors thing is completely false. Add some of the red back in Emboar, especially in the flames.

Consider the design and theme -- don't remove details for the sake of simplification. Now Emboar has a brown blob on its chest.

Your goal was to limit it to only a few colours, but you didn't actually reduce the number of colours. You took the yellow trim off his "boots" and out of his torso, despite the fire around his collar staying yellow. You took the red off his wrists, legs, and out of his fire to reduce the number of colours, but his nose is still red, and now you've added a different shade of orange for his flames, as well as making his brows yellow instead of black, making his entire upperbody look indistinct.

So, the only colour, out of the overall palette, you thought you removed was the striking red that broke his head up from his torso, except you didn't actually remove it because you kept it on his nose, and added a new shade of orange to replace it elsewhere, increasing the number of colours.

Not every pokemon is supposed to cater exactly to your tastes you retards. That's why these threads are always utter garbage.

I'm not sure why your think Mega Pinsir looks anything like a Kamen Rider or how Mega Heracross looks particularly mecha. I can see the similarities in Mega Aerodactyl when compared to Rathian, but they're so circumstantial, it's just Aerodactyl covered in pointed rocks. Rathian having the same body-type and also being covered in barbs doesn't make one a reference to the other.

Game Freak designers follow trends. You can see this with every generation. The Gen 1 designs were very 90s friendly and became iconic because of it. Gen 3 designs fell in line with the anime styles of its own time, fitting in with the Beyblade and Digimon Tamers designs. Gen 7 designs are very late 2010s friendly, and can be compared to the design trends of things like Yokai Watch.

Game Freak makes designs accordingly. Believe it or not they actually know what they are doing.

If ANY generation had been the first gen, it would've been a completely different outcome. Even literal physicists will agree with what I just said, but you won't, because you refuse to accept how the world words.

You can't just throw something to the wall and hope it sticks.

Attempt at gen 1 Gigalith. This was a bit more challenging. I wanted to keep the yellow schlera but outside of Gengar (who has it for a spooky look) I'm pretty sure no gen 1 Pokemon have colored schlera. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Removed some crystals and tried to make the rock itself more detailed using Onyx and Rhyhorn as a model. Some other changes as well.

Attempt at gen 1 Torracat. This one was also very difficult. Persian used as a model, with the headsize made smaller and an attempt at fixing the legs to match Persian's more. I think every gen 1 fire type with fur has a head tuft to show "wildness" so I replaced Torracat's thing with that.
Reason for removing all orange "markings" is that in gen 1 Pokemon do have patterns, but they're always solid. Seaking for example has solid black markings with no orange on those black markings. Magmar has orange fire pattern but the pattern is solid orange unless broken by a body part. Something like that.

I agree with your point, but there are still better examples. Using the eyes with colored sclera isn't a great choice, as most (all?) of the "Toriyama eyes" Gen I Pokemon have white sclera, black pupil. Many of the examples you picked also have rounded eyes, not the sharp triangle shape people cite as "good design."

The creature designers need more restrictions for what they can make. For instance, Human-like creatures should be far rarer and only appear where the make sense (not out in the middle of the woods). They also need to simplify designs and remind themselves what material the pokemon's fur/skin is. Reduce the number of different colors and such.
