No, it just shits on anything remotely defensive thanks to Reckless and Brave Bird with Close Combat for in case the opponent tries to send in a Rock or Steel type. Even resisted, Reckless Boosted Choice band Brave birds hit like a truck and almost nothing can switch in on those.

I see no real problem there, however. defensive strategy is for nerds.

This calc is irrelevant; you may as well post groudon OHKOing primal groudon with specs earth power or something. Bulu isn't stopping breloom from rising by beating it, it's stopping breloom from rising because it brutally outclasses it. Two of the three things breloom had going for it (fighting type priority + sleep) are bad right now. Bulu trades those for great longevity, grassy terrain, better typing, z moves (breloom doesn't use them because technician), etc.

Starmie needs way too many buffs to contend with Greninja for an offensive water type slot.
In fact you could probably give free reign to someone from /vp/ to make a ridiculous mega and it wouldn't be far off to how many buffs it needs.
