My favorite type is also grass. Appreciate that it is not the strongest typing around but it has its beauty and strengths.

And decidueye is also one of my favorites. Who says your favorites must be top tier competitively. You can like it based on design, lore, qualities and so on. Its superficial to like a pokémon just because it is strong. In that case, everybody can only like arceus and not one else.

I totally agree with you, grass is definitely not the strongest type, but it has a lot of variety in terms of how you want to use a Pokemon with this type in game. they're not like all the overly strong dragons, ghosts, fairy, etc. but the versatility of Grass types and their move-sets, along with some fun dual typing can make for some great pokemon to use competitively and for just playing the story.

Also decidueye is the starter I picked for my Moon play-through, but anyone who thinks one starter from sun/Moon was better than another is an idiot. they were all trash.
