In a perfect world, first games in a gen would be polished and have all the additions and improvements third versions have from the get-go instead of being unfinished betas, and remake content should be saved for the next gens. This way, the games consistently improve and get better as time passes instead of being this shit->great->same as before->shit->great cycle
