One of the few mons to learn Sunny Day in Gen II, without even being a Fire type, but it taught me that Solarbeam could be charged instantaneously which to the 10 year old me was the dopest shit ever.

I like it a lot. Pathetically weak, but still a nice design. Shame it seems overlooked even by Sugimori -- it's updated artwork from Gen 4 is the same pose as Gen II, just recolored, pic related.

Would love to see it get a Grass/Fire Mega, since it seems cross gen evos are now off the table.

First mon that I tried >>33389543 out on & loved it for that. Plus its cry is penang. Haven't used one since gen 2 though because power creep made it utterly non-viable in-game

Its Special Attack is higher than Greninja, Starmie, Venusaur, Groudon, Raichu, Tapu Koko or Tapu Fini.

With Solar Power and Solarbeam, it actualy has great damage output. The problem is literally everything else.

True, but I use weak/strong to describe the overall picture of a Pokemon. If I talk about certain stats, I mention them specifically. Its SA is pretty respectable, but due to its awful overall stats, it's pretty much outclassed by everything else.
