Well, that would be a matter of what you're looking for. Are you in need of a good offensive Fighting type? Then go with Hitmonlee. Have you picked up a good water type yet? If not, grab Lapras. If you need a jobber that can't make use of any of it's elemental punching moves until Gen IV. Than go with Shitmonchan.

Lapras, even if you pick blastoise it's great in game. 2nd place goes to hitmonlee, hitmonlee has been trash in every Kanto-based game.
