Flygon could pretty well be ground/dragon/bug/flying and ditch levitate for a better ability.

Palkia could be water/dragon/psychic, dialga could be steel/dragon/psychic. Giratina could be ghost/dragon/bug/dark.

Inkay and Malamar could be psychic/dark/water. Kartana could be grass/steel/fighting, buzzwole bug/fighting/flying, nihilego poison/rock/psychic, necrozma psychic/dark/rock, lunala psychic/ghost/fairy (moonblast STAB), solgaleo psychic/steel/fire (flare blitz STAB), tentacruel water/poison/psychic (if we consider their anime introduction), mareanie and toxapex water/poison/dark.

In retrospect, Confined Hoopa being Ghost-type makes a lot of sense since the Prison Bottle sealed everything (its power, malice, etc.) but its soul.

When the Prison Bottle is unleashed, Hoopa's true body is released. The Unbound Hoopa is also malicious in the movie, so Psychic/Dark makes sense.

I wouldn't say Unbound Hoopa should be Ghost-type.
