No, because I play others things, too.
I already finished dozens of others 3DS games (Rune Factory 4, Shin Megami Tensei 4, Dragon Quest VII, A Link Between Worlds, Etrian Odyssey Untold, Devil Survivor Overclocked, etc) , and it was a more diverse experience than obsessing over Pokemon with an endless grind and online battles with great "balance".

No. Off the top of my head I was something like
Diamond : 800 hours
HG/SS: 400 hours combined
White: 500 hours
White2: 500 hours
X/Y: 1000 hours combined, split about 800/200
ORAS: 700 hours combined, split about 650/50
SM: 600 hours combined, split about 400/200

Don't have any of my older games but I don't think I did much beyond completing them

In reached 600 in Y but half of that was me falling asleep while breeding. I don't know what you can do for so long besides breeding and that was hell and I dreaded that part of my day.

Why?

I haven't reached max playtime in any Pokemon game yet though the closest I've gotten is probably Soul Silver, Platinum or Leaf Green.

Only in emerald and hgss, that's why I want the frontier back

my highest is 345:01 in Pokemon X. I don't think I ever got past 100 on any other games, I always restarted when I was finished and played again. I hate the battle towers as a kid and I never bred for online until Pokemon X. I haven't even finished Alpha Sapphire yet and I just bought Moon so maybe I'll hit higher than 350 this game

My most played game of all time is Pearl at around 700 hours, but I think I'm actually easily above 1000 since i soft reseted a shitton so a lot of my playtime wasn't recorded.

Only once in Pearl. The Underground was an addiction. I mastered it so that my friends did not have to in high school.
