Seriously. What is this shit? Who thought this was a good idea? This thing isn't even worth using because it sucks dick just like 90% of alola. Like before they actually turned retarded object concepts into pretty cool mons (Wobbuffet, Banette, Cofagrigus, Chandelure, Golurk and Aegislash to name a few). But here it feels like there wasn't even an attempt. Because it is literally a sandcastle with no interesting concept attached to it. Just a sandcastle with eyes trying to be a Muk clone.

Because it's a sand elemental and those are always cool despite being kind of rare, i guess? It's done pretty differently since they usually assume humanoid or monsterlike shapes. Though we still need a tornado mon, making a ground/flying one could've been cool.

A sandcastle just isn't cool or scary. Say what you will about Muk, at least it actually looks intimidating. Pallossand is just a sandcastle. If you showed it to someone not familiar with Pokemon, they'd never guess it was supposed to be alive because the only indication is the eyes.
