If they could fix the characters, expand the story, add new areas like a Southern Kalos or something, and add more post-game content, Kalos would actually be pretty fucking great. They could even use stuff from SM now to polish it even more.

I liked Kalos more than most regions, but it's way too early for a revisit. I'd rather see an updated gen IV (Kanto and/or Johto included)

I liked X and Y, but they were kind of disappointing in some ways. I'd like to see an improvement on them.

Yes! Despite the hate, I really love Kalos, it was the biggest regions ever created, and unlike the previous regions, it really feels like you're visiting its real-life counterpart.

No. Kalos is my least favorite region. Boring, cold and unexciting.

The Hoenn remakes saved Gen VI for me; I am glad Gen VII continued the tropical warm theme with Alola.

Yes. There's so much left unexplained, so much with "deepest lore" potential left behind. Actually, Kalos had so much potential to be one of the greatest Pokemon games, but it ended up underwhelming.
Would love to go back to Kalos if they fixed it and added more stuff to it.

Not anymore, they had their chance. Can't even be excited for remakes, because all they have to build on were my least favorite mainline titles.

I really wanted a second Kalos game that would have given the region and the story a Platinum-style upgrade, especially with the legendary trio having been so mishandled. I was pretty bummed when all that Zygarde stuff ended up going nowhere after it seemed to have foreshadowed a Z version, but then Sun and Moon came into the picture and Kalos sort of felt like an afterthought.

That's not to say I wouldn't want a hypothetical return to Kalos still, but the idea was more appealing when the region was still relevant and relatively fresh. Going back now would be a bit jarring, plus it just feels like they've moved on for the most part by now.

This. Either make southern Kalos/a new region south of Kalos that reaches the Mediterranean Sea, or make a PokéGerman region to the east and connect them Tohjo-style.
