Decidueye.

As controversial as Incineroar and Primarina are, they're memorable and they have actual fanbases. I never really see active talk or enjoyment of Decidueye outside of the shitty falseflaggers, and a lot of people chose it purely under the guise of "the normie choice", with the de-facto implication it's going to be forgotten come Gen 8. Throw in its prominence is in Pokken, which has gotten barely any fan hype despite Nintendo's pushing of it, and Rowlet being the evolution of choice in its line, and I don't really know or can think of anyone using it as their ace, bro, etc.

If you like it, that's great. I'm not saying the above to insult you nor is it intended to. But for whom is it this is their MAIN mon? THE mon? Not just a cool team member, or even mere filler?

That's good to know there's people out there that genuinely like it and not just falseflaggers like the guy vomiting out the Incineroar response above. All the falseflagging lately always brings defenders of Incineroar and Primarina out of the woodwork and simultaneously glorify Decidueye to the point I assumed it was just the mindless-pick-and-play-through choice for a lot of people, since there's very little actual discussion or non-falseflagging talk on Decidueye in the board.

Had one on my White 2 team with Samurott, Flygon, Lucario, Electivire and Magmortar. She wasn't the weakest link there (I think Magmortar was). She kicked serious ass.

Lumineon.

How can I be so sure? Because I used one in white, White 2, and Sun/Moon via egg gifting. I went so far as to breed a penta perfect beneficial sp attack nature and give it a few egg moves so it would cream the game.

It still worthless. I actually lost to Lusamine in the Aether Paradise fight because I was using Lumineon and Masquerain and essentually gimping my non-over leveled team.

The mon is useless, it doesn't even have a place in the fucking CAMPAIGN which is known for being very easy. It's design is a little basic, has no interesting lore, animations, or combat ability. Lumineon is the Pokemon I am positive no one marks as a favorite.

The issue here is you need to pick a 'mon that's kinda shit. Not overly shit or ugly, just bad enough that it's forgettable. And honestly that's fucking hard to pin down, since most shitmons have their contrarian fans, like Garbador or Dunsparce.

I'd say Swoobat, but even then I used one in a run of White and it did pretty good, way better than I thought at least. Other than that though I really think I'm the only person I know who does acknowledge that it exists, so that's my answer. Love it, but I doubt many others do

Sorry, I actually built a gimmick VGC 2016 team based around Sunflora. In Sun with a Life Orb and Earth Power/Solar Beam/HP Ice, it OHKOs literally the entire metagame other than, like, Talonflame and Dialga.

I only took it to one Premier Challenge but I came top four with it. VGC players in my area are shite, admittedly.

Nope, Lumineon is great.

I used it on Pearl or Platinum as my starter, just to see how it works. Great speed + Attract carried me far. Even though it couldn't light a candle to the Champion, she was my ace, my star, and the one I relied on throughout the game.
