It's ok but fuck it's slow, even most rock types outspeed it. Beak blast saves my ass from time to time though, that added burn before the hit is clutch

the concept doesn't really come out in the design since the concept has to do with the beak heating up, so it doesn't really appeal to me. Also they gave it sheer force and it has no useful moves that get boosted by it which is disappointing.

There's something about it's pokeball animation that always makes me laugh. It has that angry "I just woke up, fuck this life" look on it's face.

I don't like how the design is just a plain toucan at first glance, I do like the angry face but wish they did more with the cannon theme with its beak and gave it a signature move that made use of skill link.

It's literally an oversized Toucan, it's a pretty lazy design.

Above average regional bird still meh trough, it's fun to see it when someone uses it in the battle royal online

It's ugly, its cry is ear rape, and it's inferior to its pre-evos. No bueno.

I like it. Skill link is a fun ability, it has a fun unique move, and its beak is colored like a sunset which I thought was a nice touch. The shiny is a sunset but later.

It doesn't really do much for me, not in the way you'd expect from a toucan Pokémon. I used to think it was because of how straightforward its design is, but the simplicity sort of works with the whole no-nonsense thing it's got going on. No, it's mostly because the "beak as a cannon" thing doesn't really feel developed enough as a concept. It does the job and it looks pretty cool, but they could have done more with it; it should definitely be much more central to the overall design. Along with its angry disposition, it just feels like a bit of an afterthought to me.

If they had made it a running theme for the whole line so that Toucannon was a culmination of those concepts, it wouldn't feel tacked on. But if you ask me, Toucannon should have gotten its own line, anyways. I know that woodpeckers and toucans are in fact related, but Pikipek feels so removed from its evolutions. Hell, they could have made it a branched evolution, with Trumbeak and Toucannon doing their thing on one side and the other carrying on with the woodpecker theme.

This. I'm sad that we probably won't get a more traditionally smaller, cuter toucan Pokemon now. But I don't hate Toucannon or anything. The only remarkable thing about it is that it looks angry, and there are memes about it being angry.

I really, really like it. Like, way too much for one person to. It's also amazing to have something with base 120 Attack at level 28.

I like its design but it doesnt make sense that it actually loses a lot of speed during evolution.

I like to think that's it's slower because its enormous beak weighs it down. Its previous forms had smaller, more aerodynamic beaks, while Toucannon has a giant honker that's nearly as big as the rest of its body.

At first I thought Beak Blast was kind of a stupid concept for a move. Then I found out that real toucans use their beaks as thermal radiators to keep themselves cool.

Bad, i was expecting a 85 ATK/112 SPE woodpecker pipsqueak that had a shitton of moves to abuse skill link with and instead i got this fucking slow abomination with no moves whose signature attack (why does it even have one?) is useless and has its secondary effect removed by one of its abilities.
