It's speed is fine, it's biggest problem is 4 moveslot syndrome. Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz and Dragon Claw are mandatory, and then it has to chose between roost and a coverage move. Not having one means a ton of shit walls you, not having the other means you get worn down too quickly between stealth rock damage and flare blitz recoil.

Roost is used on offensive variants, for exactly what anon described. Bulky ZardX runs Roost, WoW, and a totally different stat spread. Standard ZardX will run the 3 moves he mentioned and either Roost, Thunderpunch (For Fini/Azu), or EQ (Heatran, TTar). Choosing between the 3 each have a distinct advantage, and it wants all of them, hence 4mms.

thats just defensive set. bulky is just bulk offense since DD roost can make up for coverage damage. 4mms is only on max speed invested set which isn't standard at all.
