Very slow which doesn't really fit Ash's battling style. They did focus on it when Turtwig first evolved into Grotle, but not when Grotle evolved into Torterra. I wish they would have focused on it more.

Tongue, turd on its head, stubby arms and the wifi pattern. To be fair, its pre-evo had similiar issues and their concept was always a little subpar at best. Other than its what you would expect from "it just gets bigger". It's ok, like pure Normal type ok. It needs more speed and better base defenses, maybe some moves too. A better ability would be nice though.

Nothing went wrong with it if you ask me. Its design is very appealing and its one of the most useful starters ingame because it learns everything it needs per level up. Strongest ingame sinnoh-starter hands down, although I personally like Empoleon more.
