What makes a design good?
>>33345877
I like it. And if I don't like it, the design is bad.
Subjectivity.

Golisopod is an overdesigned piece of shit
>>33345877
I really like Golisopod's design
it's basically art; the way the exoskeleton just goes together so nicely makes it look really cool, and the limbs are a nice touch

nice bait
>>33345925
>tiny feet
>ugly belt thing
>unnecessary useless limbs
>boring color scheme

>>33345904

>just like isopods
>Its design takes inspiration from samurai
>"It battles skillfully with its six arms"
>do you even know what the definition of overdesigned is?
I give your bait a 2/10. Have a (You) for pity

Its feet are consistent with the size of its frontal legs, but with bigger armor. It has 8 limbs just like Wimpod, some enlarged for combat.
Its shell is designed after samurai armor. It follows a coherent and consistent isopod warrior theme, derived from, as usual, a Japanese pun.
I'm sorry it's not fucking fuchsia, neon green and ballpark mustard, you tasteless faggot.

>gets upset that his poorly made bait was called out
thank you for confirming that your post is bait

There is no indication of a good design. People can be fascinated by the concept but aren't too analytical on the execution. People can be fascinated by the execution but aren't too analytical on the concept.
Some designs rely on the concept to be effective(Crabominable). Others rely on the execution alone(Lucario). It really all comes down to taste.
