Alright, I guess I'll throw in one of mine.
This is Ketki. She's basically like a Team Rocket grunt of sorts? See's younger trainers raising Pokemon 'incorrectly'
Takes 'em
retrains and sells them.
She's basically supposed to be a very mean character in general and if she finds a Pokemon 'useless' to her standard she kicks 'em away so to speak.

uh but in all seriousness - someone who isnt bringing out the pokemons true battle-potential. Someone who isnt working with the Pokemon and breaking them of their passive traits.
Someone who wants to baby and work around that, when all you really need is 'tough love.'
If a trainer has caught a Pokemon, there is clearly a reason behind it.
For those that she can not break and has stolen - some are either 'discarded' or they are bought through Pokemon rental companies (ya know, rental mon for tournaments?)

Aaaaand here's the only one that comes to mind I haven't posted yet. Vakaga, kahuna of the tropical island of Telali. Very fiery and spritely, but often acts like a senile old granny in need of help when people see her, as her face doesn't get around in the media much, in order to test trainers here and there. 3 feet tall and, conceptually, a lot like this setting's Yoda or something. 110 years old and fit as a fiddle, and possesses some level of Aura control, in the form of being impervious to any known heat or fire-based attacks.

The Torkoal is her own companion, but the main part of the trial is an ancient Torterra the size of a smaller island, large enough to contain a volcanic system within itself, upon which trainers need to hunt for certain items and/or Pokemon while the very landscape and the things living on the back of his shell assail them. Which is a hell of a lot of talk for something I haven't drawn, but I've still got too much of a backlog to take that on for now.

I'm actually not sure at all how to color her yet, though her skin's gonna be greyish and dark, like some kinds of volcanic stone.

Anyway, I haven't created any new characters since the last thread, though here is a new piece of art I'v got commissioned for my aroma lady, Cerise!

Not much special about her, she's just got a few comfy pokemon that she's collected over the years and on adventures she's usually tossed into by chance rather than actively seeking a challenge. That or she simply gets in way over her head, but her skill level isn't very high, so it's not all that hard for such to happen.

Here's Arthur again. Comes from the capital of an island subregion, a city heavily associated with water and the pokemon of that type. Naturally his partner/starter Pokemon is a water type too, a Frogadier currently. Doing the typical trainer things in the homebrew region of the PTU campaign he's in, but mainly because he's troubled by the fact that he has no real goals or dreams beyond conquering gyms/trials, and exploring the three realms beyond his island home. He does like learning stuff, he's well versed in water culture mythology and customs and associated legendary Pokemon, and also pretty skilled all-round. He seems to be enjoying teaching his fellow trainers though, so there's that.

Rest of his team is a Deino, Growlithe, Togetic, Honedge and Exeggute. I kind of want to comission art of him walking along the wilderness with his Exeggutor following, carrying his stuff and having berries planted on it to grow for food.
