I liked the design actually. The only reason I forgot about it is because Gamefreak decided to pretty much hie the Alola Pokemon behind a bunch of older Pokemon. JFC, I always use new Pokemon in new regions and it was such a slog to actually catch them

I don't even play competitive and I completely forgot about Dugtrio. It's just so uninteresting. Like outside of Oricorio, Dugtrio, Oranguru, and Passimian, this gen was able to come up with a ton of memorable designs.

Minior, Wishiwashi, Golisopod, Mimikyu, and Nihilego are all really nice looking.

Honestly though no Pokemon this gen strikes me as forgettable, which is arguably the only upside of having fewer Pokemon. Even things like Lurantis are known for being outright outclassed by something 7 spaces down the Pokedex.

Maybe Cosmoem. Not like Pokedex spaces are finite but it didn't have to be its own Pokemon. Could have been a form of Cosmog or Solgaleo/Lunala

Did anyone use it? Is it on anyone's top 50 list of favorite Pokemon? Is the design appealing in any way? It doesn't even evolve into anything better. Seriously, why does this Pokemon even exist?

It makes me think of Dark Cloud 2, which is a very memorable game to me.

Dhelmise is great. Once I got one and tried it out I instantly made room on my team for it. Motherfucker hits like a beast and its ability basically gives it STAB on three types. I think it's up there with Mimikyu and Toxapex for favorite Alola Pokemon.
