They made Fairy type as a way to indirectly nerf Dragons, the same with Steel and Dark being added to nerf Psychics.

What's the point of adding Sound other than "it makes sense"? What type would it counter?

The problem is that they made it Z-Move dependant. It learns Focus Miss but Game Freak "thought" it will be OK as long as it has a Fightinium Z, but another problem is that its only Poison-type coverage is Poison Jab.

Truly, Special-oriented Pseudo-Legendaries are a mistake, even with Clangorous Soulblaze Kommo-o's problems aren't fixed.

Your post makes no sense. Music is directly related to sound, throwing rocks and walking are indirectly related to sound.

Sound type would be for Pokemon who specialize in using sound like Lourded, Noivern, Chatot, kriketune, chimecho ect.

I really don't think there'll be any new types; the 18 we have now pretty much cover everything.

As for sound, most (not all, but most) sound-based moves are Normal type, which makes sense considering sound is just vibrations, which makes it the perfect "neutral" energy, you know?

Cosmic I don't think so either; GF seems pretty set on making Psychic types cover all manner of space-related things.

Everyone can agree on the fact that a new type being made is unlikely. However if a new type were to be made it would most likely be sound.
