So I've been playing original Pokemon silver lately and in trying to use thief to get an early game metal coat from magnemites at a 5% chance. Has anyone ever successfully done this? I'm 70 or so magnemites in and nothing.
Thief cannot steal wild Pokémon items in gen 2. You can, however, catch them to get the items.

I stole moo moo milk from a miltank as a test. is it not the same ? Also thanks for the reply

Yeah, Miltank always gives Moo-moo Milk as an exclusive feature. Well, I say always, but technically it depends on its IV's, but still. If it has good IV's (most stats being relatively high,) then it'll give Moo-moo milk.

You are wrong .
>>33340345
Yes you can you dipshit
>>33340447
agreed. pokemom can not only be caught to attain the items. also miltank does not give moo moo milk always.

how do you justify wasting your time? there are easy ways of just putting it in your inventory. why not just hack one in and continue your run? does doing it legitly somehow justify the stupid amount of time/gambling addition you're putting into it? I don't get why some people opt for the harder route when you can simply make things easier for yourself in this day and age.
