ORAS, XY, and SM look set in the same universes. USUM is almost 100% to be in it's own universe. If that cloud is the BF, then it's likely Hoopa put the island there.

Also, you can't look through the clouds with a filter, it's a one layer pic, whatever was behind, if there even is, you cannot see anymore without the layered archive

He's saying he changed the contrast and it reveals that there seems to be some rocky/beachlike formations that don't appear to be physically apart of the cloud when the contrast between them is made more apparent. Not that he can see under it.

What I mean is that they revealed pelago pre-release, so they did not exactly hide it, or try to hide it. The clouds did obscure it, though, but it was not something meant to be hidden, I'd say.

Pelago is most likely not on the same tier as what's under this big cloud I think. Personally I think a postgame facility like the maison, but not as big as the battle frontier.
