>(HG run) About to fight elite 4. Help with my moves!
>>33339629
Fucking summer fags get out of my board reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
>>33339629
It's the Elite Four.
You could beat them with a Magikarp, so long as you have a level advantage.
Put Blizzard on Slowbro instead of curse
Level them all at least 5 times.
>>33339629
can't you evolve your growlithe? Isn't there somewhere you can get firestone before e4? Also you should trade your magneton over to another game and evolve him too
>>33340065
I was going to wait until flare blitz for growlithe.
Magneton I'll wait till for postgame

>not sure if into dog dick or named it innocently
>>33340097
Neither, it's a joke.
>>33339629
Well, I beat the elite 4 and champion.
>>33339629
Missing ice moves. Give some to slowbro and maybe thunder fang to growlithe (you need to evolve it, though).
>>33339629
>using meganium
Yeah good luck
>>33339629
Decent team
Rate Mine
>>33339629
Earthquake Meganium, Blizzard Slowbro, Dig on Growlithe, Sleep powder and Sludge Bomb on Venomoth.
>>33339629
Just use lugia or ho-oh and use X-attack X-special and X-speed heal with a full restore then sweep. It's that easy. You don't even need a full team.

Let's see
- for ingame, ditch moves like Synthesis. You can just use potions and save that moveslot for something else. (Also, Poison Powder? Really? Just slap Light Screen and Reflect on Meganium and it's already a million times more useful.)
- you have Curse on Slowbro, which is technically good to raise Def, but you have no moves to take advantage of the Atk buff. Since Confusion is pretty low power, despite getting STAB (Surf does nearly the same amount of damage on Fighting and Poison types despite Confusion being SE), consider ditching it for some physical move. Otherwise, ditch Curse and just use X items for defensive buffs if you need them.
- Oh, poor Growlithe. Moving on...
- Sonic Boom? What the fuck is that still doing on there? You oughta have ditched it 10 levels ago when HP amounts started climbing into the >80 range.
- The two last members of your team aren't terrible Pokemon, but their movesets suck. I understand it's mostly because they learn jack shit in gen 4 at those levels, but they really do suck bad. Plus I'm not seeing how they help you in beating any of the Elite Four members, Venomoth is shot down by Will's Psychics before Signal Beam can do anything and dies to a lot of other things in there as well, and I'm fairly certain Bruno has ways to deal with Normal/Flying.
- Ways to remedy shortcomings: invest some TMs on your Pokemon and fast, or alternatively consider which Pokemon in your team are the weakest links in terms of what you have to face in the Elite Four, and swap some mons out. Like anon said >>33342120, you might need some Ice (or Rock) moves to survive. And listen to this dude >>33343943, Sleep Powder is so much better than fucking POISON POWDER.
My sympathies for trying to stick with Growlithe until Flare Blitz.
