I have this part of town that always spawns a shitload of Voltorb and Magnemite, I'll routinely go over there to farm my Steel medal. Sort of like an Electric spawn haven, Pikachu and Mareep also spawn rarely. Caught a 100% IV Magnemite at this CP a little over a week ago.

First day the game came out in my country, downloaded too late so couldn't vent the hype by playing outside.
Kept catching Zubats on my window, which didn't bother me at all, lots of real bats around here so shit felt pretty immersive. Went to sleep eventually.
Woke up suddenly in the dead of night, went for the phone beside me to check the hour. I remembered leaving the game open so why not right?.. there he was, with that tiny red circle.
I didn't even had great balls unlocked, threw almost all of my regular ones until he fled. Was pretty cool thought, not a single trace of frustration. I knew it was impossible.

The fact of the matter is that 99% of the items you get at the pokestops are disposable trash. The only userful items these days are TMs and you only get those from raids.

Plus the extra 3 items is when spun & after doing a raid at that gym - effectively giving you a much higher chance of getting Ultra Balls and Golden Razz respectively which you will need for Mewtwo.

Since Vaporeon has slightly higher attack stat than STarmie, then not really? Granted, Starmie resists Psychic and Fighting attacks, but Vaporeon has almost twice as much stamina and about the same defense, so no need to power up a Starmie for this purpose alone.
