Not happening. They would need to make overworld models with their own textures for every single Pokemon. And before you give me those low-poly models that were found in the game-data, those have no textures and are used for the shadows in battling, which is why they have animations.

One last thing: animations are stored seperately from battle models. So you can import animations onto any model, which is why you have things like this image. Shadow models do not come with their own animations, but they can use any animation file.

As much as I would love game freak or whoever to put in the time to use the walking and running animations they've made for every pokemon, I doubt they will. I'm honestly thinking that Rockruff might just be the one that evolves into the "Dawn" form. Probably have to visit it each day, make it like you and form a bond or something.
