No, they have Pokemon moving animation, not following animation. Those animations were likely meant to be used in Z-move animations or some minigame that didn't make the cut. You can stop dreaming about Pokemon following you in 3D.

PokeFinder was supposed to be a bigger feature early on. They make the models and animations for it. Then they actually implement it into the game to find that it runs like fucking shit and isn't enough of a priority to dedicate resources toward making it better, so it's downgraded to something you use maybe once before shelving.

Now all these animations are in limbo except the handful that are actually used. They probably should find a way to use them though.
