Gardevoir wasn't designed as waifu bait, it was retconned into being so beginning with gen 4 when GF realized they could chase the furry money. I'm not saying that a super feminine 50/50 is not something GF would do, that would be silly in light of trannyseal. I'm just saying I don't think it's good design and leads to garbage like Mega Gardevoir. Mainly saying so because I like the palette and premise on that Misdreavous but the literal frills and hearts is a bit too much, to my mind.
