No. It must be photoshop.exe and it must be the photoshop.exe located in the default install directory. IF you have SUCCESSFULLY PATCHED and photoshop still isn't accessible for a LIMITLESS AMOUNT OF TIME it means that PHOTOSHOP IS ASKING ADOBE'S SERVERS how long you have remaining.

Locating the copy of photoshop to close it off from the internet:

Photoshop 64 bit should be installed in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 by default on windows 10. When you clicked patch, it did say that the patching was successful, correct? Because the patcher can only find photoshop if it is in the default directory (aka you didn't select any weird folders in the installation.) If the patcher really did say SUCCESS in response to every line in the little box, then you should have it in the default directory.

If you still cannot find photoshop, rightclick the photoshop icon on your start menu and select "Open file location" and then rightclick the shortcut in windows explorer like in this image http://i.imgur.com/uKNS817.png and select open file location again.

Alternately if you have the start menu you can also right click the photoshop entry http://i.imgur.com/WOa6FS5.png and Open File location and then rightclick the photoshop shortcut in windows explorer http://i.imgur.com/uKNS817.png and select open file location again.

Making sure that you aren't logged into adobe:

I would say it's a bit of both, really. Usually when I take a request I try something new with it so I'm still covering the practice aspect, but it does feel nice when people enjoy what you do for them, which is one of the main driving factors of me doing requests sometimes.
