Aside from wormadam, mothim, cherrim, purugly, girafarig and abomasnow, lickilicky, probopass and rhyperior they're pretty solid. Every gen had bad pokemon, I don't think sinnoh had much more than other generations. I also think they introduced some of the best designs in the entire series.

Gamefreak would kill itself because Lucario wouldn't exist anymore.
