How would you like to see Kanto reworked from the ground up?

Don't know if I want a total rework from the ground up
But I would love a game setting in Kanto, but like 10-20 years after Pokemon Red/Blue (So if I get it, occuring during/after SM). I'm would be really curious to see how the region would change, how the gym leaders and important character would evolve (Some retired and other as Elite 4 or just post game battle).
I really liked that feeling in GSC but I want to see a more drastic timeskip to have a familiar, but at the same time, different region to rediscover

A neon city like the one from pokemon sage would be really cool.

Going back to Kanto would be great, and I can definitely see it coming soon, maybe USUM will do it since it already planted the seeds in the story of going back, and it would be a huge selling point for the games, and Kanto is fresh in everyones minds thanks to the 20th anniversary, PoGo, the new movie, etc.

I can also see them saving it for a future Switch game, but now seems like a much more appropriate time

Heres my ideas

>Open like HGSS, gyms can be done in any order
>Building in Vermillion City is finished, it's a battle facility, or even better, it's the location of the next World Tournament
>Cinnabar Island rebuilt, bigger town, and the interior of the volcano is now explorable
>Leaf is introduced, she replaces Blue as the last gym leader, her team is Blue's team from Yellow
>Game Corner reopens, now features remakes of the Pokemon Stadium Minigames
>Battle against trainers you couldn't fight before, like Bill, Daisy and Oak

Keep everything mostly the same but maybe make everything bigger and more organic looking.
I'd like to see lavender town reworked a bit.

>a Hex Maniac NPC in the Pokemon center mentions that Team Rocket killed a Cubones Mother then kidnapped Mr.Fuji upsetting the spirits in the tower making the town go to hell in a hand basket
>the layout of the town is generally the same except having a more organic layout
>except the tower is further to the left off screen just so that way when you walk up to the tower you get a cool shot of it with some dark clouds and rolling around it with an occasional lightning strike
>you fight your rival on the second story everything is the same here except for a few minor aesthetic changes
>your rival tells you that silph co developed a device to see ghosts but he was unable to get his hands on it then leaves
>you go through the motions with Celadon city and TR base
>totem style battle with the mother
>you save Mr. Fuji from a few TR grunts that where trapped in the tower
>the Cubone with the dead mother joins you and has some special moves

If Kanto game happens again it'll be the exact same one as in RBGY and FRLG because GF wont even dare to "ruin" nostalgia and its easier and lazier.

Actually the amount of kanto dicksucking coming from gamefreak lately made me hate it.

Starter town is called Blank Village and is located north of Cerulean

Highway through mount moon

Celadon city is a seedy city

Digletts tunnel was retrofitted for a subway

Lavender town has become Lavender City, an economic capital

A highway now replaces cycling road and also connects to Viridian

The safari zone became shut down turning the surrounding city into a ghost town

The eruption of the volcano in GSC has lead to seafoam islands becoming a hotbed for fire type pokemon

First gym is Cerulean: Normal type

Second gym is Pewter: Steel type

Third gym is Vermillion: Water Type

4th gym is Lavender: Ghost Gym

5th gym is Saffron: Fighting Gym

6th gym is Celadon: Dark type gym

7th gym is Viridian: Fairy type gym

8th gym is Pallet: Electric type
