I know. Just think about it: Dragon resists Grass, Fire, and Water, so a starter that's part Dragon would take neutral damage to whatever starter it's weak to, which is NOT how starters are supposed to work

To be fair, Empoleon is neutral to Grass since Steel resists that. I believe it's the only starter with that distinction, though. The only way I can really see a dragon starter working, is if all three starters end up as dragons by the end.
