Ok /vp/, What pokemon moves are really necessary? What moves would you improve?
What kind of moves would you like see?

The fuck are those trash tier symbols?

I feel like it's important for each type to have a basic damage-dealing move with around 40, 60, and 90 power, in addition to a move that has more than 100 power, but some drawback like low accuracy or recoil.
Replaying the early games is hard because some types (like Bug and Ghost) get majorly shafted in this front.

Ice variation of slash moves, fairy variation of elemental punches are the first ones that come to mind
Although I think it is not necessary, I would like a Grass-type Fire Blast equivalent.

Pollen storm, slight chance of confusing the target

I think ever type should at least have a solid, usable TM move for both physical and special, and I'd like every type to have at least one status TM move. At present, TMs are very heavy on Normal and Psychic, and always feel like a very arbitrarily selected and numbered list.
I also think that the early game should have more variety in the typical Growl/Tail Whip/String Shot moves and have Special Attack and Special Defense targeting moves. Also if there was a low power normal Special move in the vein of Tackle/Scratch/Pound, possibly just Shout or something like that.
A 100% accurate, 80+ power, no drawback, physical electric /fairy /fighting* /fire /flying /ghost /ice /psychic /rock, 1-turn move with good distribution.
A 100% accurate, 80+ power, no drawback, special fighting/ flying, 1-turn move with good distribution.
*Fighting doesn't really need one with Drain Punch, Superpower and CC all having great distribution.

Something as Pharao's curse or Midnight bliss.
Transform to your oponent was funny as fuck.
Basically Transform move, but on your oponent and the result is a shitmon.

Lava Plume needs to have a distribution equivalent to that of Scald.
Did you know that almost twice as many Pokémon are capable of learning Scald as there are Fire-types in the game?
>There really isn't any reason "Bug" should be a type
>At the same time it would be really weird for all the insectoid pokemon to not be connected by a type
Would that just be weird because I'm used to Bug existing already? It isn't like there is a Bear type, or a Reptile type.
After playing Clover and seeing Dpook Out, I think it'd be cool to have elemental Fake Outs. Have a Fake Out for every type. It'd make for some fun variety I feel.
>Steel is brown
>Dragon is light green
>Ghost is brown
>normal is yellow
>poison is red
>dark is purple
>fairy is beige
I don't like this
