used to dislike this guy. its design felt a bit boring and not worth paying any attention to. Then one day i suddenly out of the blue started to like this fellah. Now he's one of my favs for some reason.

Happened to me with Druddigon. I used to hate the design and totally understood why people would call it "crayola dragon". Then at some point I started thinking it was the coolest shit ever.

I find Unova Pokemon in general fall under an acquired taste. Used to hate Simisear like most, for its dorky expression and pudgy belly, but since revisiting it I find its qualities rather endearing.
