when i started screeching about cynthia, i got the excuse of "it's a kids game," so i'm going to tackle this excuse.
i played like a kid would, i used my favorite pokemon, and pokemon that look cool
i shouldn't have to use pokemon i don't like (well, i did use infernape, but that was to see if it was better than torterra... i still like torterra's design) or have to use evasion tactics just to beat the over leveled champion
also it's not just cynthia, it's the elite four as a whole, but cynthia has the highest levels so i take my anger out on her

Cynthia is easy as fuck m8, the game gives you so many opportunities to boost up and sweep. DPPt also give you some of the easier sweepers in the game like Infernape and Staraptor and you can just use X-items to smash through her.

I think I beat Cynthia with a team that was 10-12 levels below her because gen 4's exp distribution is fucked.

Cynthia is hard by Pokemon standards especially in DP because grinding takes longer and there is a wider level gap.

She has a very well balanced and challenging team
But no champion is tough when you meet their levels and have type advantage, or play on shift (which I doubt anybody does, but still)

But fighting her in a nuzlocke after my empoleon died earlier in the e4 was not "easy"

Just use Torterra. It's not like there's anything in her team that can beat it asides from togekiss
