I remember no music from that game except for the Champion theme and the Team Flare theme, the latter of which is shit after hearing it more than two times in a row.

My personal favourite would have to be BW/BW2. The tracks were so atmospheric/emotional. It was great.

DP would have been first with it's smooth piano and jazz if it weren't for the shitty sound quality.

I don't remember any tracks I even remotely liked in DP outside of the Mt. Coronet, Galactic HQ, and 216/217 routes.

Every other gen I can think of several. So my vote is on Sinnoh I guess.

DPPt is the least remarkable, it took ten years for me to realize any songs but the Pokemon Center changed based on the time of day and not a one of the battle themes are memorable, XY is very close too but it has at least some standout tracks among its generic mediocrity.

If remakes count though it's HGSS for outright ruining the perfect GSC soundtrack. Its brand-new music is pretty good though.

DP's biggest problem with its music was the low-quality soundfont. By the time of HGSS, the soundfont issue was fixed, which led to BW/2's amazing soundtrack. It'll sound a lot better if DP remakes happen. Personally I want DP remakes just to hear Giratina's theme remastered.

Route 10, Humilau, Driftveil, and BW2 Burgh's gym and Elesa's gym, as well as Iris' theme are all amazing, and my favorite themes from Pokémon. I remember a couple others from Johto and Kalos as my favorites too, but BWBW2 are easily the best imo.

BW1 had a few good area themes plus the whole adding instruments by talking to NPCs to help make them more memorable by giving the player some input, and BW2 picked up the slack on battle themes and had those radical Gym themes which stand out as a big change of pace.

It's not the best but it's pretty good and it has its reasons as to why people remember it so well.

To be fair, every other game had bicycle music, but theirs was mostly standard upbeat music, and XY had the Skiddo theme, although that's just one route.
I personally stopped using the ride Pokemon feature since it removes any customization you had. What's the point in bringing back that feature if you can't even see it when using the bike equivalents?

Not him but HGSS has a mediocre soundtrack when it comes to rearranges. Really hit and miss. A lot of the new songs are good but GB Sounds is a fucking mess and really not accurate to how GSC sounded, especially if it used the waveform channel in a meaningful way for its melody like National Park/Route 26/the Surf theme/New Bark Town/etc. did. I think HGSS has the best soundtrack of the three remixes, but that's just because FRLG and ORAS both botch things even harder than HGSS does, especially the latter.

Not either of them myself, I was fine with FRLG and ORAS because they generally don't change things as blatantly, but I will never forgive Magma/Aqua Boss for removing the clapping, which was always the most memorable part of the song for me. And of course it's the one track everyone says the game got right.
