Well for starters you can start by drawing your own fucking sprites. Look at this for example, which looks like trash. That's because Mega Houdoom is actually pretty buff, it has much broader shoulders and a sloping back compared to regular Houdoom, yet they ignored this and just added the new features to the old Houdoom sprite. making it look like a wimpy big headed fuck. There are several more examples of this, like Mega Garchomp, Lucario, Gallade and so on, and they all look bad.
