It inspire Ash to carry on traveling new places and meet new pokemon.

The series ends with Ash and Pikachu running toward the sunset to their new adventure.

It would be cool if May/Dawn also appear in the final series and fulfill their goal of winning the grand festival.

This was suppose to be the end to the first movie because the creators of Pokemon thought it would end and the movie was suppose to be the final episode. They changed the movie after the trailer was released in Japan. What's odd is that this trailer has never been made available on any of the movie's home video releases. The VHS of the theatrical version of the movie didn't have it, none of the DVDs have it, the Blu-ray doesn't have it... It's like it never happened.

There's been some minor discussion about the Brionne, the thing is mostly that we don't really know anything about the episode yet. "It's a cotd episode and the cotd happens to have a Brionne" really isn't that interesting a springboard for discussion.

Also, the people that watch SM here are more apathetic and frustrated with it than hating it. People WANT SM to be good. Whatever Gen8 winds up being, I hope the anime takes the artstyle in the direction M20 used.

It's the perfect blend of XY and SM styles. Ash is emotive yet dashing, Pikachu has its fuzzy look and collides with Ashs hair pushing it out of the way while also retaining the shading details and highlights.

M20 Ash is easily the best he's looked yet.
