What about a NEW game in Kanto?
Or something like GSC post game where you go to johto when done and you get to mt Silver as red and fight Ethan.

If they want to make the oldest mons available w/o plaguing other gens then atleast make something new and not another remake.

Imagine how shit D/P remakes would be given the likelihood that they're going to follow OR/AS' footsteps and have no Platinum content. D/P on their own were utter garbage and Platinum is what salvaged them. At least R/S were good games on their own, not that that excuses the lack of Emerald content in OR/AS.

I think it'll be more like Kanto sequels(a second sequel if you consider GSC to be direct sequels). I mean Red and Blue(the characters) were shown as adults in SM, so why not show us what has changed in 20-ish years? Imagine Saffron becoming the proper big city it was meant to be!
